Jesús Pérez Gil, past president of the Spanish Biophysical Society (SBE), has been appointed as the Ambassador of the Biophysical Society (BPS) to promote biophysics and related activities in Spain. The appointment will facilitate collaboration between BPS and the SBE as well as other organizations that can contribute to connecting the Spanish scientific community at a national and international level.
In his role, Jesús has expressed his pleasure and honor to serve the members of SBE and promote activities that will connect them with BPS, as well as extend and showcase the biophysical research conducted in Spain. This appointment is a significant milestone in the promotion and advancement of biophysical research in Spain, and it is expected to foster more scientific collaborations and research opportunities in the field.
